    1. Gee! Is the establishment feeling triggered? How ^un surprising.

Also…what’s with the fucking tactical anonymous cleaning guy? Do we really need a graffiti removal SWAT team to secure the fragile egos of our politicians and judges?

What a display of fundamental weakness. If your actions and judgments can’t stand up for themselves in the face of a one man graffiti attack, your position isn’t very fucking strong to begin with.

….and removing it both underscores that point and changes nothing.

    2. He’s a mainstream darling of the artworld, probably alot of people in the government own or at least would love to own his work. But the moment he says something they don’t like he’s just a vandal and a criminal again.

Growing up doing graffiti I always thought Banksy was a posh public school boy sell out. As an adult I thought him just another brand, but he has a chance to do some real funny shit here. C’mon robin, do it.

Censorship? You realize that although it’s the almighty Banksy… it is Grafitti- which is not really welcomed (or legal) even in a private setting but especially not one so public as this, right?

Banksy saw this as the likely result and it is the most fitting conclusion for a work of art about censorship.

    5. The ironic thing is that more people will see the artwork now after they’ve censored it thanks to the attention it’ll inevitably draw online.

    6. Gonna need to surrender all your private information….ahem, I mean verify your age before you can see a Banksy soon.
